The Aquarium 6 Steine Street, Brighton, East Sussex, BN2 1TE

Was the Brighton Packet from 1826?-1874 (owned/operated by West Street Brewery Ltd) then renamed The Aquarium.

The publican/landlord was listed as George Fullick in directories from 1832 and 1839, and Mrs Mary Fullick in 1854, 1859 and 1866.[1]

The pub changed its name to The Aquarium in 1874.

The publican/landlord was listed as George Phillips in a directory from 1878. Henry Taylor and his family (along with domestic servant Susan Holker) are mentioned in the 1881 census, as a "licensed victualler". Directories show Mrs Clara Scanlen in 1890, Arthur Howlett in 1899, Robert Leach in 1913 and 1915, and Mrs Rosa Amy Hilson in 1918.[2]

Owned/operated by Tamplin and Sons Ltd from 1929-1963.[3]. Directories show Frank Hilson as publican/landlord in 1930 and 1938.[4]
